Our Team
Angela Strong
TPA, CHSC, CHSMSA, NCSO, External COR Auditor, Instructor, Certified A&D Collector
Angie grew up in the trucking industry and drove trucks and buses herself for many years. After a workplace accident in 2002, she did return to driving but became very busy helping family and friends with their safety programs. In 2004, she and her family officially started McStrong Safety Services.
In the beginning, much of the company’s time was spent on the back roads of Alberta. However, their hard work did not go unnoticed. Soon, large corporations were calling, and the company began to travel throughout the Province, helping where needed. Today, McStrong has over 45 employees who work with all types of industries.
While Angie does still go out and assist in the field, much of her time is spent auditing and/or assisting companies throughout the Province and managing her own company. She works hard and loves to play hard with her 5 grandchildren. She has been blessed to be so fortunate to know and work with such good people throughout her career and she will never forget her Alberta roots.
Robyn Frizzell
NSC Auditor, Instructor, Certified A&D Collector
Robyn joined the family business to assist in the office, like Angie, and the demand for simple safety solutions was so great that helping clients has become a full-time career. Having grown up in the gas and oil industry, she knows the demands that industry makes on our carriers and has opted to put her Bachelor of Education to use assisting those who work in the transportation sector.
Robyn had worked assisting clients with NSC, COR and SECOR audit preparations and was behind the scenes building safety and maintenance programs. Many say she is an excellent teacher and takes the time to explain the necessary requirements.
Robyn is a Certified Third Party Auditor as well as a Certified Health and Safety Management Systems Auditor. She continues to work closely with clients for all of their Safety and Compliance needs.
Cassandra Hall
Administrative Manager
Cassandra joined our family team in 2013 after completing high school. She's gone on to manage the finances for the company and takes care of all payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable. She started in the office after graduating high school and is a mom to two busy boys.
