Angela Strong – NSC & COR Auditor, Instructor, NCSO, Certified A&D Collector
Angie’s family has trucked in Alberta for over 70 years. She comes from a long line of hard working truckers, both men and women and many in her family still truck today. Growing up, every weekend and holiday was spent in or under a truck.
Angie drove bus for 6 years from Hinton to Grande Prairie and then operated snow plow for 3 years while working to maintain our public highways. She then went to work building and maintain logging and lease roads when an accident in 2002 allowed her some time for reflection on an industry that she grew up in and loved. Angie did go back to driving truck, but only to become so busy trying to help family and friends with their safety and compliance issues, that it became a full-time career for her.
She furthered her business and accounting education by studying Occupational Health and Safety at the University of Alberta and by completing the many courses at the ACSA and CSSE offer. Angie then joined the select group that has become known as the Certified Third Party Auditors. This group not only audits, but also consults for transportation companies throughout Alberta.
Working closely with the fine people at Alberta Transportation, her mandate is to help ensure public safety on our roadways by working with the many commercial carriers who operate both on and off highway. As these carriers are vital to our economy and our country, it is her mission to assist these highway heroes with simple safety solutions.
Robyn Frizzell – NSC Auditor, Instructor, Certified A&D Collector
Robyn joined the family business to assist in the office and, like Angie, the demand for simple safety solutions was so great that helping clients has become a full-time career. Having grown up in the gas and oil industry, she knows the demands that industry makes on our carriers and has opted to put her Bachelor of Education to use assisting those who work in the transportation sector.
Robyn had worked assisting clients with NSC, COR and SECOR audit preparations and was behind the scenes building safety and maintenance programs. Many say she is an excellent teacher and takes the time to explain the necessary requirements.
As Robyn has also just recently joined the select group of Certified Third Party Auditors, she will go on to audit and assist those in need of NSC Consulting. She too, will work closely with the fine folks at Alberta Transportation, helping to ensure public safety on our roadways.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding invoicing or office related documents, give Cassy a call. She can also assist you with in-house and online orientations and make payments where necessary for you.
Valerie Carlson – Administrative Assistant, Certified A&D Collector
Val joined McStrong in 2013 as an aid to assist in a local mining disaster. Having spent many years with the RCMP, Val continues to demonstrate excellent work ethics and skills and is a mentor to our younger people.
While most of her time is spent completing spread sheets and tracking reports for clients, she does still get out into the field on occasion as she enjoys working with the good clientele who McStrong is fortunate enough to work with. She also just recently became a certified drug and alcohol collector.
If you have questions about your monitoring reports or need a drug and/or alcohol test, give Val a call.
